About Us

Our company is dedicated to bringing quality flight instruction and flying adventures to aspiring aviators and the general public. Yuko Matsumoto, owner and Pilot, is an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) for gliders. Captain Elmer Udd (Master Pilot) has been an inspirational mentor and has led us to serve and promote general aviation in Hawaii. Captain Brian Neff (FAA CFIG/ SSA CFIG) is our chief pilot.
Winch is now Launching!
We are using a Roman Winch !
The winch pulls in a 5000 ft rope that is attached to the glider. While the glider is airborne, the rope is released at a height of about half the rope length after a short, steep ride. Winches are a great alternative to the traditional aerotow. They are much quieter and less driving, waiting, most of all: more fun and excitement!
